Meet The Team

Michelle Sloan, MD
Psychiatrist, Founder
Dr. Michelle Sloan is an ABPN board-certified adult psychiatrist and the founder of Mindly Health. With a deep passion for helping others, she is dedicated to fostering healing and growth through personalized and holistic care.
She received her undergraduate degree from University of California Santa Cruz where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Neuroscience. She received her Medical Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and was elected to the honor medical society, Alpha Omega Alpha. She went on to attend University of California San Diego for psychiatry residency training where she completed specialized training in mood disorders, women’s mental health, psychosis, psychodynamic therapy, interpersonal therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Dr. Sloan takes the time to listen, understand, and be a true partner in her clients' journeys, guiding them with expertise and empathy every step of the way.

Hewa Artin, MD
Psychiatrist
Dr. Hewa Artin is an ABPN board-certified adult psychiatrist. He cultivates a warm and inviting atmosphere, where clients feel at ease and confident in their care.
Dr. Artin completed his undergraduate education at University of California Berkeley, where he studied Molecular Cell Biology with an emphasis in Neurobiology. He completed his Medical Doctorate training at the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine where he received honors in Bioethics and Professionalism. After receiving his M.D., he completed his psychiatry residency training at UC San Diego, where he served as Chief Resident. He pursued additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, completing a fellowship at the San Diego Psychoanalytic Center. Dr. Artin also served as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the UCLA Department of Psychiatry, where his academic interests included neuromodulation and psilocybin-assisted therapy.
His approach is guided by the latest evidence-based practices, as well as his own experience and compassion, making him a trusted and valuable partner in the journey towards well-being.
